Philosophy

"My goal is to make therapy feel like a place you can breathe. A place where you don’t have to brace yourself, edit yourself, or shrink to fit."

Maybe you're tired of holding everything together. Maybe you feel like you're ‘too much,’ or like no one has ever really understood the way your heart or mind works. If so… you’re in the right place. My goal is to make therapy feel like a place you can breathe. A place where you don’t have to brace yourself, edit yourself, or shrink to fit. My clients describe me as warm, grounding, intuitive, and easy to talk to. I show up fully present, steady, and authentically, because I know how much it matters to feel truly seen. I specialize in working with adults navigating transitional periods, emotional intensity, relational wounds, anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, burnout, and that nagging feeling of being “out of place” in the world. If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying too much; I’m someone who will meet you there without judgment. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and relational. I’m trained in EMDR and influenced by IFS/parts work, somatic awareness, and psychodynamic understanding. Don’t worry if some of that sounds unfamiliar - I’ll explain everything as we go. What matters most is that therapy feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to you. What it’s like to work with me: I’m not a distant, nod-along therapist. I’m engaged. I’m present. I’m real. I will sit with you in the hard moments, celebrate the quiet victories, and help you connect to the parts of yourself that are still tender and waiting to be heard. You can swear, cry, ramble, shut down, overthink. All of you is welcome here. Truly. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, but you’ve already taken a brave step by being here. When you reach out, I’ll do everything I can to make the beginning feel easy, warm, and supportive and more like talking with someone who genuinely wants to understand you. If you’re ready to stop carrying everything alone… I’m here when you’re ready.
